Field Application Engineer

Industrial Measurements business area serves a wide range of industries and applications ranging from pharmaceutical to food industries, and from warehouses to power transformers. It offers a broad range of accurate and reliable measurement instruments based on the cutting-edge technology to help our customers optimize their processes, improve efficiency, minimize energy consumption, and ensure the high quality of their end-products. 



We are looking for a  


Field Application Engineer  


to join the Industrial Measurement Field Service Team in EMEA region. This position is located at Sweden Stockholm area, and you will report to Head of Field Service, EMEA.   


You will be responsible for onsite Single/Multi Point calibrations and onsite and remote installation, validation and mapping. You will do troubleshooting, configuration, and documentation of services performed. You will also manage workload to maintain effectiveness and productivity and manage expenses and service report.  


You will work together with internal stakeholders as sales and R&D and assist with developing internal process improvements and documentation. You will also provide training to customers and plan and schedule work with them.  


You should have a bachelor's degree in a technical field and 2 or more years of experience in a technical professional role or equivalent combination of education and experience. We except that you have knowledge of low voltage analog signal wiring and basic circuit diagnostics. You are familiar with both wired and wireless TCP/IP networks.  


You are self-motivated and you have ability to work independently. You have strong problem solving, communication and organizational skills with a penchant for quality and attention to detail. You have ability to work at elevation, enclosed spaces, and in cold environments. You must have a valid passport and willingness to travel domestically/internationally, up to 75-80% annually. You must have fluency with spoken and written both English and Swedish.  


We hope that you have experience with remote resource management and experience in an ISO 17025 Quality Systems or GMP regulated environments. You have a solid customer service background with a passion for excellence in satisfaction. Accredited calibration laboratory work experience is a plus.
