We are looking for a Enterprise Sales Executive to join our Vaisala Xweather team in North America for our weather forecasting and data products focused on the energy sector, including renewable energy. Our products and services help our customers build better projects, manage the fluctuating output of renewable energy, and optimize trading activity in an increasingly interconnected and high variable energy market. As a part of our Vaisala Xweather sales organization, you will be responsible for development of business-to-business growth opportunities with new clients. Your work will expand our footprint primarily in US, but with Global potential, while leading engagements with a wide variety of companies, all focused on the influences of weather & other environmental conditions on infrastructure maintenance, operational management, and asset scheduling and market participation. You would also work internally across a variety of areas including Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Leadership to provide market feedback and allow our product led approach to accelerate.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?
- Proven track record in sales and business leadership
- Ambition to push the industry to the next level
- Being an assertive salesperson, ready to find new leads and customers as well as manage relationships
- Independent, self-starter and confident to go without pre-existing guidelines to new markets and customer segments
- Ever learning and hungry for knowledge
- Background in the industry
- Previous experience in the weather, trading, high tech or SaaS (Software as a Service) industry is considered an asset, but not mandatory.
- Ability / willingness to travel up to 30% annually throughout USA and Canada, with occasional international travel
- Preference will be given to candidates located in Oregon, Colorado, California (or other locations in the Western region of the US)
- Minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience.
- Minnimum of 2 years of software sales experience in trading, especially related to energy and/or renewables
ANTICIPATED SALARY RANGE: $85,000-105,000 annually with Xweather sales bonus plan. Salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
