Field Application Technician

Missions

In the context of the constant growth and development of our activities, VAISALA France SAS is recruiting a " Field Application Technician " M/F reporting to the Head of Field Service EMEA VIM field service.
You will be part of our Field Service team consisting of six engineering professionals. Together with the team, you play a key role in improving the reliability and quality of our high-tech products.

Your main missions will be to:
- Take responsibility for onsite Single/Multi Point calibrations and onsite and remote installation, validation, and mapping
- Do troubleshooting, configuration and documentation of services provided.
- Manage workload, expenses and service reports.
- Assist in developing internal process improvements and documentation.
- Plan and schedule work with customers and provide training to them.

 

Profile

Bachelor/ Technician’s degree in Metrology, Networks computing and/or Electronics, and have at least 2 years of experience in an industry environment.
Knowledge and technical skills:
-    Proficiency in wired and wireless TCP/IP networks.
-    Knowledge of benchmarking and calibration

-    Experience with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Power-Point, Outlook)
-    Fluent English and French (read, spoken, written)

-    Driving License
