Our subsidiary VAISALA France SAS, located in Saclay (91) is a key supplier of atmospheric measurement instruments for the analysis of wind profiles, thanks to LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging), laser technology (predominantly optical, photonic and electronic). Its various markets are the wind industry, international airports, meteorology and air quality. VAISALA France SAS generates its turnover mainly internationally on the 5 continents.




In a context of constant growth and development of its activities, the company Vaisala France SAS, is currently recruiting a Corporate Counsel to complete the legal department of Vaisala Group (9 employees).

Reporting to the Senior Corporate Counsel France, you will be in charge of supporting the company's activity through your expertise in business law and contract law.

Your main assignments will be:

- Offer operational legal advice to all of the company's departments (operations and purchases, sales, scientific and technical partnerships, support functions) over a wide range of business law (corporate, business law, real estate law, social, compliance, insurance, intellectual property, etc.) and provide occasional support for other companies belonging to the Vaisala Group being based in several countries;

- Support the corporate activity of the French-speaking part of the Vaisala Group. Possibly participate in structuring operations of our French affiliates (restructuring, merger/acquisition, etc.);

- Control, update and enrich the database of contract templates. Negotiate, conclude and monitor a wide range of contracts, in a highly internationalized context;

- Provide compliance support and ensure proper understanding and compliance with major charters and commitments made by the Group or its partners: Anti-corruption, code of conduct, GDPR, environmental and quality commitments.



With a higher education of the Bac +5 type in Business Law with an appetite for a wide range of missions, you ideally justify a professional experience of at least three years as a corporate lawyer in the industry with strong international involvement (Europe and abroad).


Technical knowledge and skills


- Good negotiation and contractual engineering skills.

- Definite interest in the industrial world and its contemporary issues.

- A fluent level in English and French with excellent writing skills in both languages ​​are required. Any other language is appreciated.

- Working independently and creatively, you are committed and know how to be proactive to ensure the success of a collective.

- You have good interpersonal skills, which will allow you to maintain a close relationship with all the collaborators with whom you will have to work.

- Very punctual trips are to be expected.
