Industrial Measurements business area serves a wide range of industries and applications ranging from pharmaceutical to food industries, and from warehouses to power transformers. It offers a broad range of accurateand reliable measurement instruments based on the cutting-edge technology to help our customers optimize theirprocesses, improve efficiency, minimize energy consumption, and ensure the high quality of their end-products.
We are currently searching for a Sales Manager, Industrial Instruments in our Mexico City, Mexico office. This is a hybrid position. This person will build up, develop, and manage the business growth of Industrial Instruments in the assigned territory. Additionally, you will communicate with and understand the needs and wants of the customers in the different targeted sectors. To achieve the above, learning the company products, solutions, and services, as well as procedures and policies is key!
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Map the different target segments in North LAM countries and know about their potential using tools and techniques, such as direct visits to customers, information from websites, chambers of commerce and government institutions, networking, etc.
- Understand the regulations of the sectors related to this business and be active in the group discussions &forums of the different committees and group of influencers.
- Detect and develop business opportunities and growth plans for the region and across main related industries/accounts.
- Sales of our Industrial Instrumentation portfolio to end users, integrators, and OEM’s.
- Engage, work closely with, train, develop, and enhance capabilities of the partners in the region.
- Ability to develop relationship and network at the different levels of the different potential industrial accounts in the target sectors.
- Work in close cooperation with our marketing, customer service group, and technical support experts, product area, as well as peers across the region.
- Be active and proactive teaming with marketing and partners, to attend trade shows, seminars, and focused technical presentations/webinars.
- Create sales proposals, quotations, and track activities in Salesforce CRM.
We’re looking for people who have:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical, or similar relevant discipline.
- 5 – 10 years of technical sales (in industrial instruments or Process Automation applications preferably)experience and demonstrated market, product, and application knowledge).
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time to support customers, trade shows, events, and customer visits.
- Good to excellent verbal and written communication skills Spanish and English.
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
- Proactive and team attitude is a must.
- Understanding of technical documentation.
- Customer focus with ability to communicate service features and benefits.
- Knowledge of core processes (marketing, sales, delivery, product, after sales).
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate, conduct analytics, and solve problems.
- Experience in MS Office applications.
- Experience in business development for life sciences, automotive, data centers, and battery manufacturing is desirable.
- Value selling skills.
