Position Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Inside Sales Representative to join our team at our Mexico City office. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in managing and supporting our sales activity, providing outstanding customer service, and contributing to the growth of our business.The purpose of the role is to manage and support sales activity, including quoting, opportunity management for smaller projects, the day to day incoming requests, outbound sales prospecting and ecommerce support. A willingness to learn and gain an in-depth knowledge of Vaisala products and services as well as procedures and policies is key! This is a Mexico City based hybrid poisition.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Qualify leads and follow-up with salespeople.
- Identify potential strategic clients and forward the contacts to outside salespeople.
- Provide valuable product and application support to our customers
- Assist in customer pricing, orders, and general information to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Generate accurate quotes within established guidelines, utilizing available tools and resources effectively.
- Be willing to travel as needed, supporting our outside Sales Team during presentations and trade show activities.
- Collaborate closely with our outside sales representatives to ensure all account activities are up-to-date and well-coordinated.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemical or similar - 3-5 years’ experience.
- Understanding of technical documentation to effectively communicate product details and specifications to customers
- Fluency in English language (written and verbal)
- Posess basic market, product, and application knowledge
- Proficiency in CRM systems, such as Salesforce
- Act with integrity, aligned with Vaisala values.
- Exhibit keen attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
