Channel Partner Manager LAM

We are looking for a Channel Partner Manager to join our Industrial Measurements team in Latin America and Caribbean at Vaisala in our Mexico City, Mexico offices or Sao Paulo, Brazil (Remote).

What's your role?

 

You will be part of our industrial measurements team. Together, you will have an excellent opportunity to implement market access strategies and plans to grow the brand footprint through our distribution network. In this role you will be working in close co-operation with our distributor network at all levels of their organizations, you will coach and challenge our partners to operate systematically according to Vaisala’s framework, all in collaboration with product teams, inside sales, regional sales managers, and the partner manager for Americas. You will report to the Industrial measurements Director for LAM.

  • Contributes to the execution and development of the business plan and strategies to grow overall sales through partners.
  • Coordinate activities together with the sales, marketing and partners organization like: training plans, annual plan follow up, recurrent business reviews, leads and marketing campaigns, etc..
  • Makes sure all the partners are under compliance of Vaisala’s partner management framework; like the distributor agreement, having an active contract, Vaisala champion assigned, contact list updated, etc..
  • Generate different reports for the business and initiatives performance reviews.
  • Help on execution of distributor performance improvement programs.
  • Work closely, train, develop and enhance capabilities and engage the partners in the region.
  • Contribute to the partners assessment and review that they have a high level of distributor capability to serve all Vaisala’s customers in the assigned territory.
  • Work in close cooperation with our marketing, sales, customer service group, and technical support experts, product area, as well as his peers across the region.
  • Be active and proactive teaming with marketing and sales, to achieve trade shows, seminars, and focused technical presentations/webinars with Partners.
  • Make sure that sales and marketing activities are properly recorded and then loaded at our CRM.
  • Support in all day-to-day activities related to the proper administration and collaboration with our partners.
  • Commit to continual personal improvement being the advocate for sales enablement focused on development for technical trainings, competencies, and commercial skills.

 

What will you bring?

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in overseeing channel partnerships.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Efficient presentation skills
  • Craft and implement channel sales strategies to meet monthly sales quota
  • Develop and maintain partner and prospective partner relationships through the use of CRM software.
  • Negotiate contracts and growth plans with current and prospective channel partners.
  • Ability to use leadership and sales acumen to train and develop sales staff
  • Ability to use analytical skills to analyze Key Performance Indicators to determine the health of a channel partner relationship.
  • Ability to lead by influence.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct analytics and solve problems.
  • Able to lead-self through time managements, organization, and prioritizing tasks.
  • Continuous learning mind-set.
  • Act with integrity, aligned with Vaisala values.
  • Experience in sales methodologies such as SPIN or Outcome base selling.
