Transformation Officer

What's your role? 

You will report directly to a member of the Vaisala leadership team that will act as a leadership sponsor of the change programs and ensure both change and business alignment:  

• Craft business transformation strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives as well as inspires and motivates cross-functional teams to achieve transformation goals. 

• Identify, define, plan, estimate, and execute complex transformation programs involving business process analysis, simplification, redesign, and technology adoption   

• Setup Vaisala holistic Program & Project Management Office, to execute large scale and strategic transformational programs within different parts of Vaisala. 

• Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders across the group businesses and group functions   

• Actively seek out opportunities, together with business solutions team, for optimizing, simplifying and automating operational processes within Digital & Business. This includes adopting and leveraging digital technologies    

• Identify and define key metrics to measure and follow improvement process efficiency and transformation progress   

• Lead and strengthen a team of high-performing process excellence and transformation professionals to drive simplification and efficiency across Vaisala

What will you bring? 

• Proven track record working in a leading transformation for a complex and global organization  

• Strong operator mentality with a “get it done” attitude, capable of balancing high-level strategic thinking with hands-on 

• Driving automation and processes and business excellence with AI  

• Deep fluency with data and analytics; comfortable using data to set goals, measure outcomes, and make informed decisions  

• Inspirational leadership able to rally people to change   

• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management, both in tailoring messaging to different audiences and collaborating across internal teams  

• Proven ability to think creatively and problem-solve, finding innovative ways to address process improvements  

Given the critical nature of this role in driving our organizational transformation, the recruitment process is intentionally comprehensive. It consists of multiple steps, including interviews with the reporting manager, leadership team members, as well as discussion with peers and team members. Additionally, the process includes an aptitude assessment and security clearance. Security clearance will be obtained for individuals with their consent.
