We are now looking for a Communications and Brand Trainee to join our Communications and Brand team in Vantaa for a fixed term of six months.
This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in communications in a global technology company with the strong purpose of Taking every measure for the planet. You’ll work closely with an experienced communications and brand team and contribute to a variety of internal and external communications activities.
Your role will be to:
- Create, edit, and publish content for internal and external channels (e.g., intranet, website, social media).
- Assist in organizing and communicating company events and campaigns.
- Help maintain and update communication materials and visuals.
- Support the team in monitoring, reporting, and day-to-day coordination tasks.
- Participate in projects and initiatives that strengthen Vaisala’s brand and employee engagement.
What you’ll bring
- Relevant studies in communications, marketing, journalism, or another relevant field.
- Some prior experience in communications or marketing, for example through internships, student projects, or part-time work.
- Excellent writing and editing skills and a clear, engaging communication style.
- Fluency in both Finnish and English – our corporate language is English, but you’ll also work on writing and proofreading Finnish-language content.
- A proactive, curious, and hands-on attitude with good collaboration skills.
