Trainee, Accounting

We are looking for a Trainee, Accounting, to join our General Ledger team at Vaisala’s headquarters in Vantaa. The position is fixed term and part-time until the end of April 2027, approximately 5 working days per month.  Join us to work alongside experienced professionals and gain hands-on experience in the field of external accounting and reporting.

You will be part of our General Accounting team consisting of experienced and enthusiastic professionals. You will have an excellent opportunity with the team to ensure the accuracy, transparency and compliance of our financial processes. In this role, you will work closely with our global Finance & Control team of over 80 professionals from different countries. You will report to the Senior Finance Manager. The position is fixed term and part-time until the end of April 2027, with approximately 5 working days per month.

WHAT’S YOUR ROLE?

In our team, you will:

• Assist with general accounting tasks and reporting to governmental authorities
• Gain valuable experience in the field of accounting and modern reporting systems in an international environment
• Work at our headquarters in Vantaa with potential for remote work flexibility.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for someone with:

•Relevant work experience or studies in the field of accounting. Experience from an international working environment is an advantage.
•Fluent English and Finnish language skills are needed to be able to communicate with our international colleagues, authorities in Finland and abroad.
•Experience in SAP tools is considered an asset.
•Proactive and positive mindset.
