Summer trainee, IT Service Desk

We are looking for a IT Service Desk Summer Trainee to join our Digital Excellence at Vaisala in Vantaa, Finland. You will be part of our IT Service Desk team consisting of 11 professionals. Together with the team, you will have an excellent opportunity to gain experience in processing IT service requests and incidents reported by the internal customer. In this role you will be working in close co-operation with Vaisala employees, Digital Excellence and other support units in Vaisala.

What will your summer look like?

Main activities in the role are:

• Incident management
• Service request fulfillment
• Access rights Management
• Mobile device and subscription mangement
• Workstation lifecycle management – procurement, installation, support, recycling
• End-user support of standard hardware and software components

What will you bring?

• Fluent in both verbal and written English and Finnish
• Good co-operation and communication skills
• Self-driven attitude
• PC and mobile hardware and operating system knowledge
• Basic network troubleshooting skills
