Summer Trainee, Revenue Cycle

We are looking for Summer Trainee, Revenue Cycle to join our Finance & Control organization at Vaisala headquarters in Vantaa. In Vaisala, Revenue Cycle is responsible for Revenue Accounting, Accounts Receivable and Daily Cash Management and is organized and managed centrally from headquarters with a global responsibility.

What will your summer look like?
You will be part of our Global Revenue Cycle team consisting of 10 experienced and dedicated finance professionals. Together with the team, you will have an excellent opportunity to gather experience from working in an international organization and develop your skills to be a finance professional in proficient and supportive team. In this role you will work closely with finance teams as well as sales teams. You will report to Finance Manager, Revenue Cycle.

You will: 

• process daily bank statements, payments and related transactions
• perform accounts receivable related daily activities
• carry out month-end closing procedures related to accounts receivable and cash function
• prepare customer statements and related communication to customers

Who are we looking for?

• At least 2nd year B.Sc. (Econ.) student or equivalent, courses in financial accounting
• Positive attitude and genuine interest in accounting
• Experience in financial systems, especially SAP, is seen as an advantage
• Fluent written and spoken Finnish and English
• Strong interpersonal and team working skills
