Summer Trainee, Group Tax

What will your summer look like?

You will join Group Tax Team consisting of experienced tax professionals. Your main responsibility will be to prepare transfer pricing documentation for certain group entities, with the support of your Group Tax colleagues. In addition, you will work with other topics relating to international and domestic taxation. You will work in close co-operation with finance and business.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Prepare transfer pricing documentation for different Vaisala Group companies. You will ensure that transfer pricing documentation is consistent, timely, and compliant with relevant requirements.
  • Support the Group Tax team in various day-to-day tax-related tasks as needed. These may include, for example, responding to tax-related inquiries from the business, supporting business projects in foreign countries, handling tax registrations and monitoring changes in tax legislation.

 

The position is scheduled to start in April 2026 and continue until the end of August or September 2026. During April and May, the role will be part-time, with a planned increase in hours starting in June. The exact start and end date as well as weekly working hours will be agreed with the candidate.

 

In this position you will regularly work at our office in Vantaa, while also having the flexibility to work remotely for a part of the working days.

 

What will you bring?

  • Ongoing university studies in a relevant field (for example economics or law), ideally having completed at least three years of studies.

 

  • You are eager to learn more about taxation and you have already finalized at least some courses in taxation, including courses covering international taxation and transfer pricing. You have a basic understanding of transfer pricing principles.

 

  • Ability to take initiative and ownership of your own projects and co-operate with different stakeholders

 

  • Excellent communication skills in English; Finnish is considered an advantage

 

  • MS Office skills
