We are now looking for an energetic, motivated and detail-oriented Cost Cycle specialist trainee to join our Finance & Control organization at Vaisala headquarters in Vantaa. 

 

You will be part of our Cost Cycle team consisting of 10 energetic and motivated professionals. Together with the team, you will have an excellent opportunity to gather experience from working in an international organization and develop your skills to be a finance professional in proficient and supportive teams. In this role you will be working in close co-operation with other financial professionals and stakeholders in Vaisala. You will report to Head of Finance, Cost Cycle.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

 

  • Process purchase invoices and travel claims on a global scale
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts
  • Process indirect taxes related to purchase invoices
  • Carry out month-end closing procedures of accounts payable globally
  • Participate to interesting system related projects

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

 

  • At least 2nd year B.Sc. (Econ.) student or equivalent, courses in financial accounting
  • Positive attitude and genuine interest in accounting
  • Fluent written and spoken Finnish and English
  • Experience in financial systems is seen as an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal and team working skills
