What's your role?
As Strategy and M&A Manager, you will partner with the Industrial Measurements business area leadership team to define, assess, and execute strategic growth opportunities—both organic and inorganic. You will act as a strategic advisor, driving fact-based decisions across key areas such as:
- Business area growth strategic projects
- Market and business analyses (e.g. market/competition/technology)
- M&A pipeline analysis, target identification & assessment, commercial due diligence and integration planning for business area -relevant targets
- Strategic input into portfolio planning, R&D prioritization and investment decisions
- Support for strategic planning cycle
You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Management, R&D, Sales, and Marketing, ensuring strategy is grounded in technical and market realities.
What will you bring?
- Experience in a top-tier strategy consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain) or M&A investment banking
- Proven track record working on growth strategic projects (both organic and M&A) in technology-driven sectors
- Master’s degree in an engineering field (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Biomedical Engineering) or economics (complemented by experience in tech environment) from a top-tier university.
- Highly analytical with experience in strategic analysis, market evaluation, financial analysis, and business case development
- Strong interest and understanding of emerging technologies, industrial innovation, or deep tech markets
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence at multiple levels, from engineers to senior executives
Preferred Attributes:
- Exposure to B2B industrial or technology sectors
- Experience working directly with or within high-tech companies
- Exposure to product strategy, technology roadmap planning, commercial due diligence
