Sourcing Project Manager

We are looking for a Sourcing Project Manager to join our global sourcing team at Vaisala headquarters in Vantaa, Finland.

What's your role?

You will design and optimize supply chains for new products, drive sourcing related product changes to supply chain and execute cost reduction projects:

• Build scalable, reliable and cost-effective supply chain for new products
• Manage make-or-buy decisions and implement cost reduction projects
• Execute supplier related product changes to supply chain throughout the product lifecycle
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution
• Manage supplier relationships and resolve operational challenges
• Drive project progress and ensure timely delivery of results

What will you bring?

• Strong experience in sourcing, supply chain management, or procurement operations
• Experience in sourcing new product development is considered an advantage
• Proven project management skills preferably with IPMA-D or equivalent certification
• Excellent collaboration and influencing skills across cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions in fast-paced, dynamic environments
• An analytical mindset with solid problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business or technical/commercial science
