Solution architect - Customer Facing Solutions

We are looking for a Solution Architect for Customer Facing Solutions to join our Digital Excellence Architecture team at Vaisala headquarters in Vantaa, Finland. This is a key role where you’ll shape the architecture of customer-facing solutions to meet business goals and deliver lasting value.

What's your role? 

As a Solution Architect for Customer-Facing Solutions, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and customer-centric architectures. Your focus will be on solutions utilized by our customers, as well as internal marketing and sales teams. While Salesforce and custom development are key technologies, you will also work with a variety of other composable technologies. You’ll work closely with delivery teams, business stakeholders and other architects to ensure solutions align with business goals and integration strategies.

• Solution Architecture Design: Define and oversee the architecture for customer-facing solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and seamless integration with existing systems

• Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to prioritize architecture requirements, guide technology selections, and ensure alignment with business objectives

• Compliance & Documentation: Ensure solutions meet internal architecture standards and non-functional requirements. Maintain up-to-date architectural documentation

• Business Impact: Influence customer experiences by delivering innovative solutions that address current and future business needs

• Leadership & Expertise: Facilitate discussions, mentor teams, and drive best practices across the solution domain

• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the technology roadmap and identify opportunities for automation, cost reduction, and process improvements

What will you bring? 

You will bring strong technical expertise and proven experience in solution architecture, particularly with Salesforce and custom development.

• Experience: Significant experience in solution architecture, with a focus on complex system modeling

• Skills: Proficiency in architecture notations (Archimate, UML, ER), translating business requirements into technical solutions, experience with modern web technologies and architecture (Salesforce, AWS) and strong communication and facilitation abilities

• Collaboration: Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders

• Methodology: Experience with Agile development and delivering on promises

• Education & Certifications: Relevant degree; certifications like SAFe, TOGAF, or Archimate are a plus
