We are looking for a Trainee, Service Development to join our Project CareTech & Service (PCS) Development team at Vaisala headquarters in Vantaa, Finland. Join us to analyze and redesign Vaisala’s service subscription and contract renewal processes!

What will your summer look like?
Your work will directly support Vaisala’s service growth, recurring revenue strategy, and improved customer and internal user experience. Over the summer, you will learn how subscription and renewal models operate in a global B2B environment, deepen your understanding of business process development and digital service toolchains, and practice stakeholder collaboration across business and IT.

Analyze current (“as-is”) service subscription and renewal processes across tools such as Salesforce, S/4, CPQ, Online Store, MyVaisala, and VDP.

Identify pain points, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.

Propose clear, scalable “to-be” subscription and renewal processes based on current state analysis and industry best practices.

Outline ideal tool support and create simple process maps or mock-ups.

Compile a roadmap prioritizing quick wins and long-term improvements.
You will work closely with the PCS Development team and stakeholders in sales, service, operations, finance, and IT. The position is located in Vantaa, Finland, and hybrid work is possible.
