Sensor Fab Operator
We are looking for a permanent Sensor Fab Operator to join our Sensor factory at Vaisala headquarters in Vantaa, Finland.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
You will be part of our Sensor Factory assembly team (Sensor Fab) consisting of about 10 dedicated operators working in a clean room.The role of the Sensor Operator that we are now looking for involves mainly manual manufacturing of sensors, including visual inspection and testing.. You will also have responsibility for material flow for incoming and outgoing production materials and products.
Typically we work in one shift (day shift) with flexible in/out times, but we have also other work shifts models that can be taken into use if so agreed. The number of hours worked per week is 40.

Follow production plan and instructions to meet daily quantity and quality targets.

Independently plan daily tasks based on the production plan.

Manually manufacture the products precisely and operate the equipment according to work instructions.

Operate equipment, manage data in production systems, and perform quality checks.

Report non-conformities, equipment malfunctions, or issues.

Actively participate in continuous improvement and 5S activities.

Collaborate with R&D, Engineering and Test Support teams.

Provide valuable feedback for product development.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining high-quality standards.

Ability to use computers and different IT systems and software

Effective communication, collaborative attitude, and a desire to learn.

Proficiency in Finnish with an understanding of English.

Hands-on experience in operating manufacturing equipment

General knowledge of ESD material handling.

Technical education and/or preferably 2 years of work experience in the manufacturing industry.
