Senior Manager, Product Lifecycle Management

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Product Lifecycle Management to join the Operations team at Vaisala headquarters in Vantaa. What’s your role? 

You will lead our Product Lifecycle Management team of seventeen professionals, with eight team members reporting directly to you. You will report to Director of Quality, Operational Excellence and Product Change Management. 

Primary responsibilities are: 

• Planning, directing, and monitoring Vaisala’s product lifecycle management operations, including technical product data and product change management. 
• Leading the team and creating a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting open communication, collaboration, and a strong sense of teamwork. 
• Support our factories and supply chain in PLM topics. 

What will you bring? 

• Solid understanding of Product Lifecycle Management tools, systems, and processes and an interest in taking our activities to the next level 
• Strong commitment to leading and developing a team as a people leader by fostering diversity, supporting and developing the team, embracing continuous learning and successfully implementing changes when needed 
• Understanding how technical product data models and governance can best support the end-to-end supply chain  
• Understanding the financial and risk management impact that product changes have 
• Fluency in English and excellent cooperation and influencing skills as the role requires cross-company collaboration
• Knowledge of LEAN and continuous improvement methods

Competitive Compensation: €72320 - €108480 annually. Salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, internal equity, and alignment with industry standards and local market factors.
