Senior Electronics Mechanician

We are looking for Senior Electronics Mechanician to the Weather factory. This is a permanent position and located in Vaisala headquarters in Vantaa.

You will be part of one of our four diverse teams consisting of 60 energetic professionals. The role of the Senior Electronics Mechanician is to inspect, assemble, test, calibrate, and pack products in accordance with established standards. Your main responsibility is to play a key role in solving production-related challenges, supporting team leaders when needed, and collaborating with various stakeholders to improve processes and ensure seamless operations.

To be successful in this role, you have:

• Good communication skills English and Finnish, and the ability to collaborate effectively
• Experience with MS Office tools
• At least one year of experience in manufacturing work or a related field
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a proactive approach

What will your responsibilities include?

• Ensuring daily deliveries are shipped on time
• Handling nonconforming materials and products
• Problem-solving related to material shortages and inventory accuracy errors
• Reworking faulty products to meet quality standards
• Supporting team leaders during absences by conducting production gemba
• Participating in PDCA processes, generating new improvement ideas, and supporting implementation

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We're searching for a candidate with good communication skills. You have experience with MS Office tools. You have at least one year of work experience in manufacturing or a related field. You possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a proactive approach to your work.
