Senior Cloud Developer

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Developer to join our our Industrial Measurements business area at Vaisala headquarters in Vantaa, Finland. Are you ready to build software which really makes a difference?

You might not know how big a role software plays in our high-quality instruments and systems. – We create monitoring systems for professionals who want to access quality measurement data securely wherever they are, take a look at this video. 

• Cross-collaborate with product managers, product owners and developers to co-create awesome features.  

• Proactively translate business needs into features – and be brave to challenge us to do better!  

• Be our go-to-person when problems need to be solved, obstacles crossed, and broken features fixed.

What will you bring? 

• Strong experience with AWS Cloud Services: CDK, AWS Lambda, AWS Kinesis Stream, AWS Dynamo, SQS/SNS/EventBridge, Cloudwatch, and S3 

• Fluent coding skills in TypeScript / JavaScript  

• Proficiency in Serverless architecture, Event Driven Architecture, and Domain Driven Design 

• Ability to work in a cross-functional agile team 

• Ability to take ownership and communicate effectively, coupled with an action-oriented approach to problem-solving.   

Seen as a plus: 

• GraphQL, Hexagonal architecture, React, UI/UX eye.
