Quality Manager

We are looking for a Quality Manager to join our Quality team at Vaisala headquarters in Vantaa, Finland. What's your role?

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and owning our compliance-related customer questionnaire process, including developing systems and ways of working; how we reply to customer compliance-related inquiries efficiently and consistently
  • Owning and running the global audit process, coordinating and facilitating internal and external audits related to ISO standards, together with all internal auditors globally. Making sure that audits lead to real improvements
  • Working together with the global quality team to facilitate problem solving, process improvement, quality awareness work, and more

 

What will you bring?

  • A few years of relevant work experience, ideally from a manufacturing company
  • Quality-related education or training, such as Lean, Lean Six Sigma, Master of Quality, or relevant university courses
  • Proven track record of process and/or system improvement
  • Familiarity with AI and IT systems
  • Project management experience and/or training
  • Auditor training and/or experience from audits are seen as a plus
  • An improvement mindset and the ability to turn problems into learning and improvement
  • Strong people skills – you get along and enjoy working with people on all levels and parts of the company
