Product Manager
We are looking for a Product Manager to join our Power product area team at Vaisala headquarters in Vantaa, Finland.

What's your role?
You will be part of our Power product area team of high-performing, passionate professionals. As a Product Manager you will act as the “CEO” of your portfolio, being end to end responsible of the technical & commercial (sales) performance of your area of responsibility. Together with the team, you will have an excellent opportunity to help ensuring our customer’s most valuable assets are being safeguarded 24/7/365. This is done by our hi-tech gas analyzer or moisture in oil products. In this role you will be working in close co-operation with our regional front-end sales teams as well as R&D, operations and quality.

Actively visit customers together with our regional front-end sales teams

Develop a deep understanding of customer application and product needs to define clear requirements.

Set the vision, roadmap, and identify continuous improvement opportunities.

Own, manage, and prioritize the product R&D road map, ensuring alignment with business goals & product area opex budget.

Lead the productization process to bring offerings to market.

Monitor competitors and industry trends to stay ahead of the curve.

Actively contribute to marketing activities, driving product visibility and sales.

To be successful in this role, global travelling is required approximately one week / month around the year.

Solid professional experience in the electrical industry or a comparable technical field is highly valued.

Familiarity with transformers or working with power grid companies is considered an advantage.
