International Events Coordinator

What's your role?

 

You will be part of our EMEA Marketing team, a group of highly enthusiastic and experienced professionals. In this role, you will plan, manage, and execute seminars and trade shows that support our Industrial Measurements business area, with a focus on Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. You will serve as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders, agencies, and partners. Additionally, you will contribute to Frenchlanguage marketing activities and content. You will report to the Head of Marketing. 

 

Your key responsibilities will be:

 

  • Plan and deliver approximately 25 regional events and trade shows per year based on strategic priorities. 

  • Manage event concepts, coordinate suppliers, handle reservations, shipping and returns, and perform on-site checks for both internal and external events. 

  • Brief agencies and oversee the production of promotional assets. 

  • Keep event demos and key messages up to date in line with product launches and updates. 

  • Follow up on performance and manage budgets throughout the execution of activities related to your events. 

  • Use a variety of marketing tools (Microsoft Office, Adobe, Marketo, Drupal) for daily work. 

  • Create and adapt French-language content for all marketing channels. 

  • Work closely with colleagues in marketing, sales, and other internal teams, as well as international marketing partners. 

 

What will you bring? 

 

  • At least 3 years’ experience working in an international marketing environment. 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing, international business, or a related field 

  • Hands-on experience in coordinating events, ideally on an international scale 

  • Practical knowledge of marketing tools (CRM, marketing automation) and eagerness to learn more 

  • Adaptability, positivity, and a flexible cando attitude that helps you thrive in a dynamic, international marketing environment. 

  • Excellent project management skills to keep everything on track. 

  • Willingness to travel occasionally. 

  • Full proficiency in English and French; additional European languages are a plus (Finnish not required). 

  • Ability to manage physical tasks for shipments and exhibition setups, including packing, lifting, and assembling materials.
