What's your role? 

 

  • Define and implement a Global Market Attack Plan including sales strategy for the Mining and Industry segment. 

  • Gain market intelligence to strengthen Vaisala´s position in mining and industrial markets. 

  • Define the segment offering and work with internal and external stakeholders to integrate and deliver larger solution concepts. 

  • Leading Sales Managers/Inside Sales team, setting objectives, supporting actions, and participating in negotiations. 

  • Managing sales cycle and sales process to sales ensure sales performance, profitability and proper management validation. 

  • Maintain relationships with key accounts, channels, and strategic partnerships globally and providing regular feedback. 

  • Shaping the segment marketing strategy and collaborating with marketing to deliver upon the marketing plan, including events, webinars, etc. Representing segment though leadership at events and in webinars. 

 

What will you bring? 

 

  • A Master’s degree in business or engineering, complemented by a deep understanding and analysis of commercial, technical, and multicultural aspects. Preference given to candidates with a comprehensive grasp of technology and science. 

  • Demonstrated experience in new business development, technical product sales and strong team management abilities. 

  • Proficiency in sales techniques and methods, sales team leadership, particularly in navigating complex environments. 

  • Strong interpersonal and impacting skills, along with a positive, proactive, and dynamic leadership approach, are crucial for building rapport with customers, prospects, and the team.  

  • Fluency in English is required, while proficiency in another language (such as Spanish, French, German, etc.) is advantageous.
