We are looking for a Head of Business, Climate and Environment to join our team. Your main location will be at our global headquarters in Vantaa, Finland.

What's your role?
With industry-leading weather observation technologies, instruments, and solutions, we help our customers and partners make the most informed decisions whenever environmental insight matters. Our Weather and Environment strategy and development team focuses on creating new solutions and exploring new markets.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Leading a fast-growing business focused on greenhouse gas (GHG) measurement, reporting and verification (MRV) across various industries and application domains.
- Create a unified commercial strategy in line with development roadmaps, financial targets and maturing regulatory conditions.
- Develop go-to-market, technology, and service partnerships in key geographies.
- Engaging with current and potential customers and partners to develop internal strategic competences, anticipating future requirements and shaping compelling value propositions.
- Driving sales growth from piloting to scaling the business in collaboration with marketing and sales teams.
What will you bring?
- A master’s degree level in industrial management, economics, or a relevant environmental discipline with an emphasis on international business, innovation and/or commercial expertise in technology-based solutions.
- 5-10 years’ experience from business development, management consulting, innovation services or strategic sales & marketing roles with technology-based solutions.
- Demonstrated track record from business growth at early stages, preferably included the shaping of spearheading offerings and differentiating value propositions.
- A keen interest in technological solutions (software and hardware) and environmental applications and domains.
Industry knowledge and established professional networks in environmental monitoring and GHG-intensive industries such as oil & gas, mining, and waste management are highly preferable. We also value strong technology expertise across various sensor technologies, IoT solutions, and data modeling, as well as experience in leading teams in sales and marketing roles.
Moreover, we expect you to have strong interpersonal people-impacting skills and ability to sell your ideas to multiple stakeholder levels, both internally and externally. As we are a global company, fluent and crisp written and oral expression in English is a must, and other language skills are appreciated.
