HW Test Engineer

What's your role?
You will be part of our Industrial Instruments R&D team of 200 professionals. Together with the team, you will have an excellent opportunity and a pivotal role in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards and technical requirements, particularly in applications involving hazardous locations.
In this role you will be working in close co-operation with other HW Test Engineers, Mechanical and Electronics Engineers, Project and Product Managers. You will report to the R&D Manager.
Your main responsibilities would be to:

Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute test plans, focusing on environmental and integration testing of industrial instrument products under development.

ATEX / Explosion-Proof Equipment: Test equipment to ensure compliance with ATEX / explosion-proof standards for hazardous locations. This includes ensuring equipment can prevent ignition of surrounding hazardous atmospheres.

Third-Party Test Management: Coordinate and manage third-party testing activities to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Project Involvement: Engage in projects from conception onwards, providing feedback and influencing technical solutions and materials.
What will you bring?

M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in engineering.

Previous experience working in product development, with a preference for experience in explosion-proof equipment for hazardous locations.

Experience in creating test setups for both manual and automated testing.

Strong test documentation skills.

Knowledge of measuring technology and electronics is an advantage.

Interest or experience in explosion-proof equipment design and testing.

Proficiency in English; Finnish is an advantage.
