We are looking for a HRIS-oriented HR Specialist to join our HR Team at Vaisala, headquartered in Vantaa, Finland.

What's your role?

 

You will be part of our HR team of experienced and dynamic professionals. Together with the team, you will have an excellent opportunity to play a crucial role in supporting various projects and daily administrative tasks within the Human Resources function.  In practice, this means e.g. supporting end users (employees and managers) with SuccessFactors related questions, testing new releases & functionalities and administering people processes that help HR and business make better decisions.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage day-to-day data administration in the HRIS platform(s), ensuring accurate and timely updates of employee, organizational, and structural data. 
  • Administer end-to-end processes in the HRIS system. 
  • Develop and maintain reports & dashboards to support decision-making. Utilize strong Excel skills for report creation and data analysis. 
  • Provide training, troubleshooting, and support to all end-users. Manage end-user tickets via the ticketing system. 
  • Act as a testing resource for system development and configuration changes, ensuring full testing responsibility during bi-annual system releases. 
  • Conduct data imports/exports, mass uploads, and ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity. 
  • Create and update documentation related to system usage, system descriptions, and data dictionaries. 
  • Commit to continuous learning and staying updated on HR technology trends, particularly SuccessFactors system functionalities. 

 

 

What will you bring?

 

You may come either from an HR background with growing interest in HR systems, or from a more technical/HRIS background with good understanding of HR processes – most important is your motivation to go deep into SuccessFactors.

  • Master’s degree in Information Systems, Data Sciences, Statistics, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • Some experience in HR administration or in an HRIS / data administration role; you are comfortable working hands-on with data, reports and system configurations.
  • Strong Excel skills for working with data and reports. 
  • Motivation to deepen your SuccessFactors expertise and interest in HR technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a structured approach to troubleshooting. 
  • Good communication and collaboration skills; you work well in a diverse team environment.
  • Understanding of HR system functionalities or related HR technologies is an advantage but not mandatory.
