Giant Leap Trainee, AI Workflow

Are you ready to take a Giant Leap? We’re looking for an AI Intern for content workflow automation to join our Giant Leap program – a project-based internship at our headquarters in Vantaa. The project: Developing AI Agents for Product Content Workflows will explore AI opportunities for customer documentation, selecting the two to three most promising ideas, and then implementing, testing, and validating prototypes with selected tools. As a Giant Leaper, you will get your own project to lead for three months, starting in June.

Giant Leap is a unique opportunity for you to be the project manager of your own project, with the support of your teammates and project supervisor. What will your summer look like?

During the summer, you will:

• gain hands-on experience leading an AI-driven content project from insight to implementation, and learn to translate team needs into practical AI solutions that genuinely support daily work
• analyze the current situation and ideate AI-supported improvements with help from a team of 18 content professionals
• work at the heart of our Research & Development and product development to increase automation
• help us make the content creation process leaner, simpler, and partially automated
• implement AI agents that support the team’s daily work
• build a roadmap for further improvements and extensions of the most valuable AI applications

The role is hybrid, with key stages carried out on-site at Vaisala’s R&D building in Vantaanlaakso to make the most of in-person collaboration.

What kind of skillset are we looking for?

• We are looking for a Master’s student in a relevant field (for example, information technology, computer science, or automation) with studies in areas such as:
  • AI and machine learning
  • language technology and natural language processing
  • automation
  • process optimization
• You may not have experience in all the above areas yet, but you’re keen to develop and put your skills to use.
• You are curious, positive, and proactive in exploring new ideas and solving problems.
• You communicate clearly and enjoy collaborating with others to get things done.
