Electronics Mechanician

We are looking for an Electronics Mechanician to join our Instrument factory at Vaisala in Vantaa.

You will be part of our diverse team consisting of 30 energetic professionals. The role of the Electronics Mechanician is to inspect, assemble, clean and pack products in accordance with established standards. You will work mostly on evening shift and working hours start typically around 2 pm and end 10 pm. The number of hours worked per week is 40.

WHAT WILL YOU DO? 

 

• Assemble assigned product parts in a production cell in accordance with production guidelines and instructions.
• Perform spot checks of products to ensure adherence to approved quality standards.
• Notify Team Leader of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions.
• Cross train with other team members.
• Adhere to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations.
• Assist with inventory counting and investigating inventory discrepancies.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU? 


• Some manufacturing and assembly experience.
• General knowledge of soldering and ESD material handling.

• Mechanical skills and strong attention to detail.
• Good spoken English or Finnish, and Good written English.
• Diploma from High School or vocational school, or equivalent.

 

This position requires standing, sitting, kneeling, and reaching.
