Electronics Mechanician

We are looking for an Electronics Mechanician to join our Instrument Factory at Vaisala Operations in Vantaa, Finland. You will have the opportunity to explore the fascinating world of measurement devices, gaining hands-on experience and valuable insights into our industry-leading solutions.

What’s your role?
You will be part of one of our four diverse teams consisting of 80 energetic professionals. The role of the Electronics Mechanician is to assemble, test, calibrate, inspect and pack products in accordance with established standards. This role includes working in different shifts, mainly morning and evening shifts with the possibility to work the night shifts. You will report to Team Leader, Instrument Factory.
Your responsibilities include:
- Assemble products according to guidelines
- Check product quality
- Report issues to the Team Leader
- Follow company policies, especially safety rules
- Assist with inventory counting and corrections
- Collaborate with engineers to implement process improvements
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area
Who are we looking for?
- Degree in electronics or telecommunication, or equivalent experience
- Experience and willingness to work in shifts, possibility to work the night shift seen as a bonus
- Mechanical skills and strong attention to details
- Proficiency in English, knowledge of Finnish language is a plus
