We are looking for a Dealer to join our Treasury team at Vaisala headquarters in Vantaa, Finland. This is an exciting opportunity for treasury professionals to leverage your financial risk management and process development experience for Vaisala and its growth.

What's your role?

As the go to-person in FX risk management, you will be part of our Treasury team in Finance & Control organization, comprised of a group of finance professionals. At Vaisala, Treasury is organized and managed centrally from HQ with global responsibility. Together with great colleagues, you will have an excellent opportunity to drive and develop our ways of working in financial risk management. In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders (sales, business controlling, and manufacturing teams) and external stakeholders like banks. You will report to the Head of Treasury.

  • Financial risk management (FX, IR, liquidity management and counterparty risk), hedging execution, process development and position analysis
  • Internal and external risk reporting related to financial risk management
  • Development of risk management practices related to financial hedging and treasury policy
  • Financial modelling (WACC), analysis and market condition monitoring
  • Support in external funding and corporate finance related matters such as M&A
  • Driving process, reporting and automation development including AI based solutions for improved ways of working
  • In-house financial risk advisory

 

What will you bring?

  • Work experience from FX-risk management and treasury activities in a global corporate environment, including hedging, financial analysis and reporting
  • Technical skills with analytical and development driven mindset
  • Ability to analyze and articulate financial market movements and impacts to stakeholders
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence across a diverse organization
  • Collaborative abilities across diverse organization and good communication skills with the ability to influence towards the set goals
  • Understanding of IFRS framework is a plus
  • Relevant degree in finance, economics or equivalent
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Curiosity and a growth mindset to explore, learn, and apply AI tools in your daily work. We expect everyone at Vaisala to actively discover how AI can enhance their work
