Buyer

We are looking for a Buyer to join our Operations function at Vaisala headquarters in Vantaa, Finland.

What's your role?

• High-quality and professional daily purchasing activities and procurement of materials in accordance to control models defined; MRP, VMI, ABC logic etc.
• Manage and prioritize purchase orders in a complex supply chain of suppliers.
• Lead of material allocation meetings (planning, product managers, procurement included).
• Lead weekly meetings with key suppliers to keep track of their supply performance.
• Monitor forecast confirmations from suppliers.

What will you bring?

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English.
• Passion for purchasing.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4 is considered an asset.
• A degree (BSc) either in a commercial or technical subject.
• You may be at the beginning of your career or already an experienced professional – we will tailor the responsibilities to match the experience of the selected candidate.
• Ability to see the big picture while effectively organizing and prioritizing work.
