Buyer Trainee

We are looking for a Buyer Trainee to join our Operational purchasing organization at Vaisala headquarters in Vantaa.

What will your summer look like?

You will be part of our great purchasing team consisting of 8 professionals. Together with the team, you will have an excellent opportunity to ensure material availability for our production. In this role you will be working in close co-operation with our Production planning, Supplier quality and Manufacturing. You will report to Senior Manager, Planning & Purchasing. 

You’ll be working with high-quality and professional daily purchasing activities and procurement of materials in accordance to control models defined; MRP, VMI, ABC logic etc.

• A lot of experience in matters related to purchasing operations 

What will you bring?

• Ongoing studies for commercial or technical degree
• Strong oral and written skills in English, Finnish is seen as a plus
• Good social skills 
• Microsoft Office knowledge
