Business Solution Specialist (job alternation leave substitute/vuorotteluvapaasijainen)

We're looking a Business Solution Specialist in SAP Financial Accounting to join us as a job alternation substitute for a period of 180 days with an approximate start date in June-August 2024 at our headquarters in Vantaa, Finland. Please note: To be eligible for this position, you must be registered as an unemployed job seeker at the TE Office and meet the criteria for the job alternation leave substitute.

What’s your role?
 

• Participate in developing, implementing and maintaining Vaisala's Financial Accounting capabilities in SAP S/4 and integrated systems, as part of the Record to Report (R2R) process
• Work together with our 3rd party service provides related to your responsibility area, to ensure high quality support to the end users
• Support and develop some of our integrated applications (eg. supplier invoice and expense claim processing tools). You will also resolve support tickets related to such applications.

You will work closely with your colleagues in Group IT and in Finance and Control

What will you bring?

You must be registered as an unemployed job seeker at the TE Office and meet one of the following criteria:

• have been registered as an unemployed jobseeker in the TE Services for a minimum of 90 days during the 14 months preceding the substitution, or
• are under the age of 30 and have graduated with a vocational or higher education degree less than a year ago, or
• are under the age of 25 or over the age of 55 at the start of the job alternation period.

In addition, we are looking for candidates who possess:

• A few years' background in Financials Business Solutions or ERP development
• Solid understanding of Financial Processes
• Familiarity with one or more Financial Accounting tools (ERP or similar systems). SAP ERP experience is an advantage.
• Strong logical reasoning skills combined with a keen eye for detail.
• Fluent communication skills in English.

You may be an ideal candidate for this position also, if you have recently graduated with M.Sc. /B.Sc. degree in relevant field and possess a keen interest in ERP development and Financial Processes.
