What’s your role?

You will be part of our Finance and Control Business Solution team in our Group Digital Excellence consisting of four professionals. Together with the team, you will have an excellent opportunity to develop our applications further. In this role you will be working in close co-operation with Vaisala Solution owners of other related areas (such as SCM, CRM, Projects and Services) and with your colleagues in Vaisala Finance and Control department, as well as our AMS support partner. You will report to Business Solution Manager.  You will:

• Develop, implement and maintain Vaisala’s Financial Accounting capabilities in SAP S/4 and integrated systems, as part of the Record to Report (R2R) process
• Ensure fit for Vaisala IT architecture and Information Security principles
• Take care of 3rd party management related to your responsibility area
• Support and train Super Users
• Take part in solution development roadmap creation together with business
• Act as an internal consultant; benchmarking and sharing industry best practices in own solution area and providing feasibility studies when building new solutions.

• ideally at least few years’ background in Financials Business Solutions or ERP development.
• Solid understanding of Financial Processes. Experiences of Group Reporting and General Ledger is an advantage.
• Familiarity with SAP ERP.
• Strong logical reasoning skills combined with a keen eye for detail.
• M.Sc. /B.Sc. degree in relevant field.
• Fluent communication skills in English.
