What's your role?

As a Business Solution Manager, Services, you will drive and manage digital business applications within the Services domain, ensuring they align with business strategy and digital transformation goals. Overall Vaisala Services domain consists of Customer Care, Service Delivery and Execution for both On-site (Depot) and Field Services, and Contract Management. You’ll oversee the entire solution lifecycle—from strategy execution to implementation and operations. Service domain in Vaisala contains Customer frontline operations, Technical support, Service center as well as Field services processes.

In this global role, you will lead a team of Business Solution Owners, Developers, and Technical Architects while working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners. Your mission is to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions that enhance both customer experience and operational efficiency.

• Participate in business solution strategy creation and ensure resources for execution are planned accordingly.
• Drive requirement management and ensure solution compliance with Vaisala architecture.
• Provide industry benchmarking, best practices, and feasibility analysis for new solutions.
• Oversee solution development, testing, security compliance, and deployment validation.
• Lead and support the team, managing workload, performance, and competence development.
• Coordinate third-party collaboration to ensure solutions meet business and architectural requirements.
• Manage third-tier solution support within the designated area.
• Develop supplier relationships, oversee contract execution, and participate in negotiations.

What will you bring?

• BSc or MSc in a relevant field; certifications such as SAFe, IPMA D/C, PMI C/B, or PRINCE II.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in implementing international projects.
• Strong understanding of business processes, process management, and related system solutions, such as ERP, CRM, BI, Data Mining, and integrations.
• Process re-engineering, solution development, leadership, influencing, facilitation, and project management.
• Excellent listening, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• English as a working language; other language skills are a plus.
