You will be part of our Air Quality Forecast team consisting of professionals SW development, AI/ML and meteorology. Together with the team, you will have an excellent opportunity to develop further our leading global Air Quality Services. In this role you will be working in close co-operation with the larger team, and you will report to Marko Torvinen, Head of Forecasting.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

 

  • Your main task is to develop methods and systems to automatically analyze and detect quality anomalies in air quality models and observations. If you have ML/AI skills, you can use your knowledge in developing analysis methods.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

 

 

  • Background in Data Science, Computer Science or Computational Mathematics
  • Skills in programming, understanding of algorithmic programming, handling of large data amounts and understanding of AI/ML principles
  • Preferred stage of studies: 3-5 years of studies, possible missing only diploma work
  • Language requirement: English (mandatory), any other language is a plus
