We are looking for a Production Assembler to join our Boulder Operations / Production Team at Vaisala Boulder Operations Factory in Louisville, Colorado. This is an on-site position.

What's your role?
You will be part of our Boulder Operations and Production team of 12 professionals. In this role you will be working in close cooperation with Rich West and report to Bruce Borchardt.
• Assemble assigned product parts in a production cell in accordance with production guidelines and instructions.
• Perform spot checks of products to ensure adherence to approved quality standards.
• Notify Team Leader of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions.
• Cross train with other team members.
• Adhere to established company policies and procedures with special attention to safety regulations.
• Assist with inventory counting and investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Participate in 5S, LEAN and Continual Improvement of the Manufacturing floor.
• Wear personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.
• Display attention to detail in all assigned tasks.
• Observe ESD protocols.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
What will you bring?
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Entry level, 1-2 years of experience
• Hands-on experience assembling, operating, troubleshooting, and/or maintain electronics, electromechanical, computer, and communications equipment.
• General knowledge of soldering and ESD material handling.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Mechanical Skills (including familiarity with hand tools).
• Strong attention to detail.
• General knowledge of soldering and ESD material handling.
• This position requires standing, sitting, kneeling, lifting, and reaching.
• Lift up to 50 lbs or team lift > 75 lbs.

ANTICIPATED SALARY RANGE: $26-29 an hour. (Salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). Additionally, we offer our employees a competitive benefits package which is outlined below.
