We are looking for a Health & Safety Manager to join our Project, CareTech & Services team at our Vaisala, Boulder, Colorado location.   We are seeking a passionate and experienced professional to build and inspire a dedicated team, driving innovative safety initiatives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Your leadership will be pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of health and safety, protecting our people and our mission.

What's your role?

 

The Health & Safety Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing field safety programs and culture across multiple locations worldwide to ensure safety standards are consistent globally while also adapting to regional regulations and cultural differences. 

In this role you will be working in close co-operation with Global Services, Quality, Environment, Health & Safety Management. You will report to Head of Global Services.

 

What will you bring?

 

  • Strong leadership skills
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar certification preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of global safety regulations and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software.

ANTICIPATED SALARY RANGE: $95,000-115,000 annually. (Salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data).  Additionally, we offer our employees a competitive benefits package which is outlined below.”
