We are looking for a Field Service Project Manager (FSPM) to join our PCS Service Team at Vaisala in Boulder, Colorado.

What's your role?
You will be part of our North American Service Team of 23 professionals. Together with the team, you will have an excellent opportunity to manage the service activities related to Vaisala Service Business, delivering systems and solutions to Vaisala’s customers, based on Vaisala core product portfolio. In this role you will be working in close co-operation with Vaisala Customers, Field Engineers, Service Technicians, Certified Partners, PMO, and Sales. You will report to the Service Team Lead.
- Direct and coordinate all field service activities related to Sales Orders, Service Orders, and Service Contracts.
- Create and manage all SAP Service Orders and Sales Force Cases, including communication with customers related to field service work & service center work.
- Generate customer facing quotes for field services and service center work using Sales Force.
- Using the scheduler tool, assign field service & service center work to service engineers as necessary to ensure KPI’s are being met.
- Management of service contracts, including weekly, monthly reports to customer and scheduling of service work necessary according to SLA.
- Management of field & service center inventory levels, ensuring service engineers have ample stock necessary to complete service work.
- Inventory management, including inventory counts as necessary for field personal and service inventories.
- Collaboration with Project Management to ensure harmonization of field activities, and prioritization of work.
- Coordinate the field service activities:
- Communicate with customer (or customer-specified installation contact) for product and sale orders, to schedule installation date and all other logistics, including shipping details.
- Allocate installation resources, including Vaisala Field Service Engineers or Certified Technician and equipment.
- Work closely with the technical support team to schedule necessary field service calls and be sure that the service is complete within the timeframe as specified in the service contract.
- Determine the most efficient timeframe and personnel to complete the service.
- Work with sub-contractors and partners.
What will you bring?
- Customer service skills.
- Experience managing subcontractors
- 3-5 Years in field service contract management and/or project management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders
- Ability to direct and co-ordinate internal personnel and external subcontractors
- Excellent task management skills; ability to establish work plans and assign tasks to appropriate personnel
- Strong problem solving, conflict resolution, coaching and team-building skills.
- Understanding of capacity planning.
- Associates degree preferred
- Required Work Experience:
- Experience with high tech equipment and systems
- Experience with ERP system preferred; SAP

ANTICIPATED SALARY RANGE: $80,000- $93,000 annually. (Salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). Additionally, we offer our employees a competitive benefits package which is outlined below.
