Customer Success Manager

We are looking for a Customer Success Manager to join our Vaisala Xweather Roads team for a hybrid position in our Louisville, Colorado office. You will join a team that primarily helps clients make targeted treatments and avoid unnecessary callouts by turning Wx Horizon insights into routine operational decisions.


In winter road operations, forecast accuracy and data surity is everything. Wx Horizon helps road agencies anticipate and mitigate changing conditions with hyper‑local pavement forecasts and live observations across your network. It delivers timely, accurate insights—72‑hour road weather forecasts, network‑wide situational awareness, and proactive alerts—to support planning, call‑outs, and on‑the‑ground decision‑making.  

 

 

 

What's your role?

 

  • As part of our established CSM team, you’ll strengthen customer relationships to drive outcomes, retention, and loyalty. You’ll run the post‑sales lifecycle—onboarding, adoption, value, and renewal—using proven playbooks, collaborating cross‑functionally, managing risk, and contributing to continuous improvement.
  • Define success, lead onboarding/adoption, and guide customers to outcomes.
  • Maintain success plans and executive cadence aligned to metrics and initiatives.
  • Deliver Xweather Roads education; run group and 1:1 trainings.
  • Engage enterprise stakeholders (Director to C‑level); communicate value and manage risk.
  • Advocate via structured feedback; inform product with data‑backed insights.
  • Track health with CS tools; document improvements as part of our kaizen culture.
  • Own renewals with Sales; mitigate churn and grow accounts through upsell/cross‑sell.
  • Turn usage/outcome data into actionable recommendations that increase adoption.

What will you bring?

 

  • Independent, self-starter and confident to go without pre-existing guidelines to new markets and customer segments   
  • Ever learning and hungry for knowledge   
  • Background in technology, SaaS or weather sales, enabling effective communication with key stakeholders from business leaders to software engineers and data scientists   
  • Previous experience in the weather or SaaS (Software as a Service) industry is considered an asset, but not mandatory.    
  • Some travel required for conferences and meetings   

 

 

 

ANTICIPATED SALARY RANGE: $80,000-$105,000 annually. (Salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data).  Additionally, we offer our employees a competitive benefits package which is outlined below.
