We are currently searching for a Technical Quality Manager in our Burlington, Massachusetts location. This position follows a hybrid work schedule. As the Technical Quality Manager, you will plan, develop, and implement appropriate quality systems for the Industrial Measurement Calibration and Repair Laboratory, ensuring our service quality is consistently high. You will manage the implementation of ISO/IEC 17025 Quality Systems and standards. The role may expand to support Latin America as well.
What’s Your Role?
- Manage ISO/IEC 17025 Accredited calibration services
- Support ISO 9001 quality system compliance
- Guide and oversee successful audits (internal/external) and manage follow-up or closure of outstanding audit items
- Perform technical analysis on laboratory non-conformances
- Develop and continuously improve calibration methods and procedures; establish best practices
- Perform uncertainty budget calculations
- Maintain training records and documentation
- Review calibration certificates for accuracy
- Provide technical guidance for the laboratory team and support customer inquiries
- Collaborate effectively across teams, functions, and organizational boundaries
What Will You Bring?
- Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of related experience. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of work Experience (Pharma/Med-Device)
- Minimum of 1 year of Project Management experience
- Experience in an ISO 17025 Quality Systems or GMP regulated environments
- OSHA10 hour construction certification will be required upon hire
- Solid customer service background with a passion for excellence in satisfaction.
- Analytical and positive approach to problem solving
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency with spoken and written English
- Must have valid US passport and the ability to travel internationally.
- Able to interact with Regulatory Agencies and Certification bodies
- Understanding of FDA, cGMP, USP, and MHRA
- ISO14001:2015 and ISO45001:2018 (EHS) experience
- Ability to travel up to 20%
Desired Experience:
- Experience with remote resource management a plus
- Accredited calibration laboratory work experience a plus
- Experience working with FDA regulated life science customers a plus
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems a plus
- Cross cultural and management experience in diverse multiple locations preferred
- Knowledge of ISO10012 is a plus
