Industrial Measurements business area serves a wide range of industries and applications ranging from pharmaceutical to food industries, and from warehouses to power transformers. It offers a broad range of accurate and reliable measurement instruments based on the cutting-edge technology to help our customers optimize their processes, improve efficiency, minimize energy consumption, and ensure the high quality of their end-products. 

Position Description: 
We are currently searching for a Calibration & Repair Technician who is responsible for performing calibrations and repairs on various Vaisala products in our Woburn (Boston), Massachusetts office. 

Your key responsibilities include: 

  • Performing detailed calibrations and repairs on Vaisala products.
  • Performing all calibration and repairs following the steps outlined in the Calibration & Repair Services Process.
  • Completing Data Sheets and Calibration Reports
  • Completing Repair Reports
  • Accurately opening, assigning, and completing Repair Orders (RO’s)
  • Reading and following detailed calibration/repair procedures
  • Accurately signing out inventory material
  • Providing clear and concise updates to customers regarding calibration and/or repair status or quotations.
  • Maintaining clean and professional work stations at all times 



  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate’s or Technical degree in related field and one to two years of experience preferred
  • Will consider equivalent education and experience
  • Excellent spoken and written English as either primary or secondary language
  • Basic calibration knowledge
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic MS Office knowledge
  • Desired but not required experience:
    • Electronics
    • Mechanics
    • Telecommunications
    • Computer networking
    • Environmental or climatological disciplines
    • Dedicated customer service delivery
