It offers a broad range of accurate and reliable measurement instruments based on the cutting-edge technology to help our customers optimize their processes, improve efficiency, minimize energy consumption, and ensure the high quality of their end-products.

We are currently searching for an Order Management Specialist in our Burlington, Massachusetts office. This is a hybrid position (expectation of 3 days in-office). As a Specialist, you will be responsible for having an in-depth knowledge of Company products and services in order to effectively manage all customer purchase orders.  With the ability to effectively communicate and understand the needs and wants of the customer, Order Management will ensure solid communication to ensure the customer’s complete satisfaction. 

 

 

What's your role?

 

  • Support sales teams to meet sales targets quarterly and yearly including entry of sales orders, tracking customer deliveries, and other duties as required to support the sales.
  • Work with Sales, Accounting, Shipping and other departments internally to solve Customer issues
  • Assisting in customer orders and general information.
  • Overcome technical and business objections of prospective customers.
  • Emphasize salable features, quotes prices and credit terms, and prepares sales orders for orders obtained.
  • Estimate date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of company production and delivery schedules.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Enter new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.
  • Works with outside sales representatives to keep account activities and literature up to date.
  • Investigates and resolves customer problems.
  • Collections of bad debt with customers

 

 

What will you bring?

 

  • High school diploma and 2-3 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking
  • Be able to work in fast-past, high volume capacity
  • Maintain positive, professional attitude at all times
  • Experience in MS Office-Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • SAP/Salesforce experience desired
  • Must be flexible, self-motivated, have a take charge attitude and prioritize tasks from a variety of supervisors
  • Customer focused

 

 

ANTICIPATED SALARY RANGE: $70,000 - $85,000 base salary with our annual performance bonus planSalary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
