Marketing Automation Manager

Industrial Measurements business area serves a wide range of industries and applications ranging from pharmaceutical to food industries, and from warehouses to power transformers. It offers a broad range of accurate and reliable measurement instruments based on the cutting-edge technology to help our customers optimize their processes, improve efficiency, minimize energy consumption, and ensure the high quality of their end-products. 

Position Description:
We are looking for a tech-savvy marketing expert to own and run our regional digital marketing and automation efforts while leading our Vaisala’s Industrial Measurements business area to the next level. As the Marketing Automation Manager, AMER, you are in a key player in helping Vaisala achieve its business objectives, regional and globally. You will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, helping build and execute highly targeted revenue and demand generation-driven marketing automation programs. You will guide our regional marketing team members toward achieving their goals by providing them with best practices and optimized templates. 

 

You are the maestro of our marketing orchestration practices and at the heart of our digital customer experience. You are very comfortable and familiar with designing and managing marketing automation programs while overseeing our customer engagement strategy alongside our regional marketers. You understand how data and analytics drive customer’s acquisition.

 

Your key responsibilities include:

  • An expert in all-things marketing automation, data analytics and reporting
  • Apply marketing automation best practices across all regions (North, Central and South America) by supporting our Sales and Marketing teams
  • Analyze data from several marketing platforms and campaigns to understand how they are performing against business metrics and KPIs. Communicate results and prove simple yet clear recommendations for marketing effectiveness
  • Continuously deliver excellence in demand generation strategies by identifying new technologies and concepts. Skilled at prototyping and testing. 
  • Hands-on, curious and always looking for ways to improve our marketing best practices and processes
  • •    Work closely with regional marketing, global marketing, and sales teams to improve lead scoring, generation, and overall customer experience.  

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a marketing or technical field and a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools
  • Experience working in a B2B environment 
  • Demonstrated experience generating and converting leads
  • Experience working in a global team preferred

 

You may be a great fit if:

  • You have a strong technical background and experience with tools like Eloqua, ON24 and Salesforce (highly preferred). Not mandatory, but are you shy to be on camera? We run over 50 webinars a year and want someone who can help coach our team on how to run contemporary and engaging webinars that drive market expansion and product adoption. Conversion is the name of the game. 
  • You understand how to turn marketing technology into opportunities for B2B companies and can translate that into a roadmap for our marketing team. Got some project management skills? You are going to need them! 
  • You excel at working in an agile framework and understand how to scale processes. You have a can-do attitude and you are willing to work and execute on a tactical level, but can speak to the executive team on a strategic level. You know how to communicate downstream and upstream beautifully. You are a problem solver with a curious personality and a professional who gets excited about digging deeper, getting to the core of the issue, pushing the envelope, and never quitting until you find a workable solution. Data analysis drives your work. You are always looking for new ways to optimize our existing campaigns - creating new processes, redefining best practices and identifying opportunities for future improvement.  
  • You have 3-5 years of experience in executing marketing automation programs, preferably in a B2BC global environment. Ideally, you have hands-on experience with focus on lead nurturing and lead scoring best practices to drive revenue and growth.  
  • You think “in numbers” so you can understand how sales teams operate, how to monitor their pipeline, and have fun optimizing our marketing funnels to best “connect the dots” from marketing activities to sales leads and customer experience. 
  • You are a great motivator, fun to work with, and communicates clearly and concisely while having a great eye for detail and sense of humor. 
  • Do you feel compelled to write after an amazing convo conversation with a product engineer from Helsinki, a sales manager in Mexico, and your marketing counterpart in Tokyo on how to products work on Mars? Or potential new applications for our technology that can save lives or help manage COVID-19 vaccine distribution? We want to talk to you. Of course, we need you to have a strong understanding of marketing automation best practices for lead generation, lead nurturing, and persona-driven marketing. Or else, how would you connect the dots?
  • And if you speak either Brazilian Portuguese and/or Spanish. , Já está meio caminho andado!
